Super Fuzz

The stuff that I recorded at home on the digital 16-track, like "Power Supply" and "It's All Over Now Baby Blue" and the later stuff, I really like the way it sounds because it just sounds much bigger and stuff. But there's definitely a thing that's hard to achieve on that machine, which is like a certain type of density. When you're working on the four-track, maybe it's because you're having to pile stuff on top of each other on these four tracks and bounce it all around, that it kind of ends up...I don't know how to describe it, but it has this density or it all becomes kind of like one mass, and it's really hard to get that on the digital. The other thing that's hard to do is really just kind of overload it. You can overload the digital thing, but it doesn't sound good. When you overload the analogue thing, it sounds good.
